Each NetWellness Expert...

Is a health care provider who is currently doing clinical work, research, education and/or community service in his/her field.

Is a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University or Case Western Reserve University; or is affiliated with one of these universities and has achieved the highest academic degree or licensure in his/her profession.

Follows guidelines outlined in the NetWellness Expert Manual, a document created and endorsed by representatives at the three NetWellness partner institutions. These guidelines include:

• HON code (Health on the Net) criteria for web site assessment
• Privacy
• Methods of answering consumer questions via the Internet.
• Scope of appropriate questions
• Reading level of answers
