Radiation from a Patient Undergoing Radiation Therapy07/26/2008 05:24PM |
Does radiation treatment for prostate cancer induce any radioactivity in the patient? Is it safe to be near a person who is having radiation therapy (after treatment)?
Radiation therapy does not make a person radioactive and thus they are not a risk factor to anyone else, period.
